JOHN F. HANNAH

Pastor John F. Hannah is the founder and senior pastor of New Life Covenant Church. He’s also an author, teacher, leader, and husband to Anna Hannah for over 22 years.

For 13 years, he hosted the “John Hannah Morning Show” on radio station Inspiration 1390 in Chicago which garnered him a Stellar Award in 2013 for Gospel Radio Announcer of the Year. He also serves on the Human Resource Board for the City of Chicago and the Civic Consulting Alliance for the Chicago Public Schools.

TIMES & LOCATIONS

EVENT LOCATION
Gathering is located at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Kids event will be held in the Riverside Rooms on Level 2.

CHECK-IN AREA
Enter through the Riverside Theatre North Entrance and turn left to see the Kids Check-In Area. Our Kids Team will be ready to welcome you!

SESSION TIMES
Check-in opens 30 minutes prior to each session.

REGO & CHECK-IN/OUT

REGO WRISTBANDS
Registration Wristbands will be available for pick-up from Sunday 2nd October at Kingdomcity Locations, or at the conference venue on the day of the event.

Children must be wearing their Wristband at all times during the event. Lost or Broken wristbands can be replaced at the registration desk for a cost of $5.

HELPDESK
For assistance with your child’s conference experience, such as updating details, early pick-up, Lost & Found, or anything else, please see the Helpdesk, located in the Check-In area on Level 2.

CHECK-IN
Before each session, children must be checked-in to the program at the Kids Check-In area. During Check-In, you will receive a name sticker for each child, and a Pick-Up tag. Please ensure your child is wearing their name sticker. For children ages 5 or under, please place the sticker on their back.

Your child will be pre-assigned to a connect group, designated on their sticker. Once checked-in, follow the signage to locate your child’s connect group leader. Take note of where your child’s connect group is – you’ll pick them up from the same place after the session.

CHECK-OUT
To collect your child, return to the drop-off location with your Pick Up tag. Only the person holding a Pick Up tag will be allowed to enter and collect a child. This is to ensure your child is kept safe and secure.

At the end of each session, your child will be waiting where you dropped them off. When you arrive, show the Pick Up tag to the connect leader, who will release your child to you. The connect group leader will then provide you with an exit token – you’ll then pass this token to the Kids team member on the door to allow you to exit with your kids. This will help to make your child’s pick up quick and easy, but most importantly safe.

WHAT TO EXPECT & BRING

POWERFUL SESSIONS
Our prayer is that your child will encounter Jesus in the most amazing way! Conference sessions are packed full of praise & worship, incredible messages, and space to encounter God!

Kids will have a blast with huge group games, cool dances, silly challenges, and an epic carnival full of rides and activities!

CONNECT GROUPS
Kids won’t just have fun, they’ll make great friends too! They’ll be assigned to a Connect Group – a small group of similarly aged kids. These kids will be grouped together for all conference sessions and have a Connect Group Leader assigned specifically to them each session.

WHAT TO BRING
To stay hydrated, we recommend your child bring a water bottle. Refill stations will be available throughout the conference.

For younger kids, you may wish to pack comfort items, such as blankets or teddies.

You may wish to pack snacks or food for your kids, but please ensure they do not contain nuts.

Please ensure all personal items, including clothing, are labelled with your child’s full name. We don’t recommend bringing important or valuable items such as games or phones

HEALTH & SAFETY

SNACKS & FOOD
Snack food will only be provided during the afternoon session on Saturday; however, meals are not provided. Please make sure children are fed lunch/dinner before being checked-in to sessions. If you wish to pack snacks or food with your child, please ensure they are nut free.

ALLERGIES & MEDICAL INFO
Any allergies or medical conditions will be listed clearly on your child’s sticker. Please check this information thoroughly and update our team if any information is wrong or missing.

SPECIAL NEEDS
As stated in the registration form, children with special needs require a parent or adult carer to be with them at all times. Parents or Carers should see the Helpdesk during Check-In to sign in.

CHILDREN REQUIRING ATTENTION
If your child requires attention our team will contact you via mobile phone. Please ensure your phone is switched on and visible during the sessions in case we need to contact you. If our team attempts to contact you, please head to the help desk immediately.

The Family Auditorium is provided for children unable to settle or under the age of 2 years. A live-feed of the Gathering experience will be available there.
